We did see the Spitfire from the R.A.F. memorial flight.
The fly past started at 2.35pm and was absolutely awesome; a real tribute to one of the few.
The Spitfire circled three times. At a guess, I would say the pilot went vertical before rolling out above the memorial. Then went round and dived towards the memorial again (my goodness what a sound the Rolls Royce engine makes when pulling out of a shallow dive), then a long right turn around our field and off to the next memorial.
